Crystal Ball Flying Scot Invitational Regatta

The 2009 Crystal Ball Flying Scot Invitational Regatta is in the books. Three races were sailed in light and shifty air both days. Saturday's wind was early and became calm after the first race leading to postponement and finally abandonment of additional races after about 4:00 pm. On Sunday, a three hour postponement preceded the races allowing two shorter races to be sailed before the time limit of 2:30 pm. Patience was a virtue and Forest Rogers, FS 5855 came out on top once again. Congratulations to all participants and thanks to all who made the 2009 edition of the Crystal Ball a success.
